Privacy Statement on Video Surveillance

This Privacy Statement explains the type of personal data that Your Company Skopje (hereinafter: the Controller) collects from you when visiting the official/business premises and how the Controller uses this data.

Why Do We Collect (Process) Personal Data?

The Controller collects personal data through the video surveillance system for the following reasons (purposes):

  • To control access to the facility and ensure the security of the facility, the safety of the Controller's employees and visitors, as well as the property and information located or stored on the premises;
  • To prevent, deter and, if necessary, investigate unauthorized physical access, including unauthorized access to security and protected areas, IT infrastructure or operational information;
  • To prevent, detect and investigate theft of equipment or assets owned by the Controller, visitors or employees, or threats to the safety of personnel working on the premises (e.g., fire, physical assault).

The video surveillance system is not used for any other purpose, such as monitoring employee performance or attendance. Video cameras are positioned so that they do not cover the surrounding public space. The cameras are intended to provide a general overview of what is happening at certain locations, but not to identify individuals.

The video surveillance system is also not used as an investigative tool or to obtain evidence during internal investigations, unless a security incident is involved for which video surveillance was established in accordance with the Law on Personal Data Protection. (In exceptional circumstances, data may be transferred to investigative authorities as part of a formal disciplinary or criminal investigation).

Video surveillance cameras are installed at the entrance and are positioned and focused to record only persons who access the official/business premises (facilities), including property (e.g., parking).

The video surveillance system covers the area of: entrance and exit points of the facility, garage, and outdoor surface of the facility.

2. What Data Does the Controller Collect?

The Controller collects only images captured by the cameras, without audio recording.

3. Who Is Responsible for Data Processing?

The Controller is the entity that carries out the processing of personal data and determines the purposes of processing, solely in accordance with the Law on Personal Data Protection. In addition, the president of the sports club Sonja Antovska is the contact person responsible for video surveillance.

4. What Is the Legal Basis for Processing Personal Data Through the Video Surveillance System?

The Controller uses video surveillance equipment for:

  • Protection of the life or health of visitors;
  • Protection of property;
  • Protection of the life and health of employees;
  • Ensuring control over entering and exiting official or business premises.

Therefore, the processing is lawful in accordance with Article 90 of the Law on Personal Data Protection.

In addition, at the entrance to the facility, there is a visible and clearly displayed notification about video surveillance that enables data subjects to become acquainted with the video surveillance, as well as the name of the controller performing the video surveillance and how to obtain information about where and how long the recordings from the video surveillance system are stored.

5. Who Can See My Personal Data?

Video recordings can only be accessed by authorized video surveillance personnel. Access to the digital device or disk on which video recordings are stored is restricted, protected by the application of technical data security measures (password, record of every event or action by employees, i.e., authorized persons). Data, i.e., video recordings, cannot be accessed without authorization from Sports Club Your Company Skopje.

6. How to Control Your Data?

You can send a request to the Controller's email address (e.g., email to your@business.com, address ul. Serska br.32 Skopje).

7. Can I Access My Data?

You have the right to access your data at any time and free of charge, by sending a request to Sports Club Your Company Skopje or via email to: your@business.com.

8. Can I Change My Data?

Modification of the video surveillance recording is not permitted.

9. Can I Request Restriction of Processing My Data?

You have the right to restrict the processing of your personal data at any time by sending a request to the Controller's email address (e.g., email to your@business.com, address ul. Serska br.32 Skopje), when you dispute the accuracy of your personal data, or when the Controller no longer needs the data to perform its tasks. You can also block processing when the operation is unlawful and you object to the deletion of data. However, blocking is not possible in every case of an official investigation.

10. Can I Delete My Data?

You have the right to delete your data at any time by sending a request to the Controller's email address (e.g., email to your@business.com, address ul. Serska br.32 Skopje), when the processing is unlawful.

11. Is My Personal Data Shared with Others?

Your data is stored by the Controller, unless you request or consent to it being shared. In case of sharing your data with third parties, you will be informed to whom it was disclosed, for what purpose, and on what legal basis.

12. Do I Have the Right to Object?

Yes, you have the right to object and oppose processing at any time by sending a request to the Controller's email address (e.g., email to your@business.com, address ul. Serska br.32 Skopje), when you have legitimate reasons related to your specific situation. The Controller will act on your request within 15 days from the date of submission.

13. What Can I Do in Case of a Problem?

The first step is to notify the Controller by sending an email to your@business.com and request that they take action.

The second step, if you do not receive a response from us or are not satisfied, contact our personal data protection officer at info@advokatmajalazarevic.mk.

At any time, you can submit a request to the Agency for Personal Data Protection www.azlp.mk, which will act on your request and take the necessary measures.

14. When Will the Processing of My Personal Data Through the Video Surveillance System Begin?

Processing begins at the moment you visit the Controller's premises.

15. Personal Data Security

The Controller is dedicated to protecting your personal data. Therefore, it uses security technologies and procedures that protect your personal data primarily from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. We store your data on computer systems with limited access and in a controlled environment.

16. How Long Do We Keep Your Data?

The Controller will keep your personal data for 30 (thirty) calendar days after your visit to our premises, after which all recorded video recordings are automatically deleted.
